Cleaning stove exhaust filters
You have two choices CLR BBQ Grill Cleaner or CLR Grease Magnet. CLR BBQ Grill Cleaner works on stainless steel, steel and porcelain enamel and is biodegradable, non-flammable as well as non-toxic. To clean your filters, remove the filter or filters from the exhaust fan and place them in a clean container, spray the surface with CLR BBQ Grill Cleaner, wipe the surface with a sponge and rinse the filter or filters with cold water. Grease Magnet can be used the same way as our BBQ Grill Cleaner, but if you find that your filters have caked on grease use Grease Magnet. To remove the grease, soak the filter or filters in Grease Magnet and allow the solution to sit on the filters for about five minutes or until you see the grease running off of the filters. If need be, scrub the filters with a stiff bristled brush and rinse with clean, cold water.
